Rian & Lori's Intimate Winter Wedding

They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I believe this to be true, some people prefer sunsets to sunrises, bright pops of color, or soft pastels. But the beauty all around you is how you choose to see it. As a photographer I can either complain about the barren trees, the brown grass, and the lack of color in the world, or I can appreciate the splendor of Gods creation. The trees are resting from showering the world in bright greens, the grass will soon be bringing life again to its lives that depends upon it, and the flowers will soon open their buds once more. I must remember that this season is good, It's a season of rest. It is a season of the Lord taking away the things we love most, the warm summer breezes, the birds chirping in our window, and sometimes, a loved one whom we will so dearly miss.

I know Lori will dearly miss her dad, and tho I don't understand why God always takes the good ones, I'm so thankful that Lori has Rian to stand beside her, to take care of her, now that her father has passed away. Though it seems as tho winter will never end, this season of grieving shall pass and spring will come and blossom in her heart once more.

Lori is a photographer like myself. Her attention to detail was phanonominal. She spent hours driving around the country side picking out the most perfect locations, sending photos of them all to me, and her hard work paid off! Unlike most weddings where the majority of the photos are taken in one spot. We had two spots to choose from and end up taking some in both!

They say that an image is worth a thousand words. So I'll allow you to experience the wedding day through the eyes of my lens.

There are many many more wonderful moments from this wedding I could share. But I'll leave you with these. It was an absolute honor to be able to capture this wedding day for Rian and Lori and I look forward to continuing our friendship.

May the Lord bless you, and keep you, make his face shine upon you, be gracias unto you, and give you peace. -Martina Dawn Photography.
